We are more than happy to welcome Kajaree Das as a new PhD student in the OWL-ML lab.
Kajaree has previously completed a master’s degree in computer science at University of Bonn and has worked as a Software Developer in the industry before joining us as a doctoral researcher. In her master’s thesis, she worked on Unintended Bias Mitigation in Toxicity Detection using ML algorithms, a topic which will continue to inspire her during her future journey. During the PhD, Kajaree will focus on the interaction between lifelong machine learning and participatory AI – investigating dimensions of the ability to adapt effectively that may aid in achieving broader inclusion. We are looking forward to inspiring future research.
