We are delighted to welcome Qi Li as a research assistant in the OWLL group. In the process of working on her Master’s degree, Qi will spend the next year exploring continual learning models for climate within the recently granted project CAIMAN: “Continual Artificial Intelligence Models for Atmospheric Convection in Subtropical Regions“.
Intended as an early catalyst, CAIMAN’s central guiding question is the development of climate
models that can continuously adapt to and monitor the different aspects of atmospheric convection to predict severe weather conditions. We are excited for Qi to contribute to this vision!
