We welcome Tanadhon Dumnernpun for a summer internship

We are happy to welcome Tanadhon Dumnernpun to the lab as an undergraduate research summer intern from mid May to end of July. Tanadhon was successful in receiving a competitive scholarship through the Erasmus+ program and follows in the footsteps of many students through the strategic partnership between University of Bremen and Mahidol University, Thailand.

During his stay, Tanadhon will explore first algorithmic approaches to tackle the continual confounding problem by means of systematic intervention. The problem itself is a highly challenging scenario, recently outlined in our ICML 2025 spotlight publication “Where is the Truth? The Risk of Getting Confounded in a Continual World“, where learner struggle from being exposed to different sets of spurious correlations over time. We are looking forward to the progress that will be made during Tanadhon’s internship!
